Dr. John arts Kalabhavan, the famous Indian painter having his roots in kerala had secured his place in the "Unique world records, India book of records, Asia book of records, Asst. World records, URF World Records, Limca Book of Records"

He had successful caricatured 350 world famous personalities from vibrant areas of interest in water media (100*70) and presented the same to them.

He was the first Asian to win a Honory Doctorate from " world record University of America". Being a post graduate, his artistic career in painting started right from Cochin Kalabhavan. He was the former illustration artist of" Satyadeepam" a famous Christian magazine, and had also served as a tutor in drawing at Cochin Shipyard Ltd.

He was renamed as Johnarts during 1981, when artist N.P.Luis who had earned Papal honour arrived to draw the paintings at Altar at Cherthala Pallippuram Ottappunna Church, the church vicar Rev. Fr.Thomas Puthussery appointed him as the deputy to Mr.Luis and gave John the surname “Johnarts” after which he was known as Johnarts.

Hailing from "Thaikalathil" family, Cherthala, Kerala, he left to Kuwait in 1992 and has a service record of 7 years as an artist in Kuwait Palace & Kuwait education ministry. In due course of time he acquired a gold medal in 1994 from Sheikh Majida AL Navafil. Moreover, The Indian embassy and about 30 plus organizations honored him at various times.

He is a renowned personal and a great mentor for 7200 successful students across the world. He is been in Kuwait for 23 years running an Art training centre. His wife Molly serves as a staff nurse in Farwania and they been blessed with two children Jomon and Jomin , whose whole hearted prayers and supports made him reach great heights.
